Dear Editor, So, now we’re into 2012, the year some people think the world will end. Well, the world, or life upon it, will end for many people this year, often unexpectedly. We often hear of the wisdom of having our affairs in order – a will, a living will, etc. More important is having one’s soul ready to meet its Maker. The season has just passed when we celebrated the coming of Jesus. He came, not to create a beautiful story, but to teach us righteous living, and ultimately to give His life to atone for our sins, preparing us for the coming judgment. He grants this gift to anyone who humbles himself to receive it. Whether the world ends in 2012 or not, we can be ready.
