Dear Editor,
The Red Cross continues to reach out to people affected by the severe weather in Saskatchewan this year. The Red Cross will maintain their province-wide toll-free number until further notice. This line has been activated to make Red Cross services more accessible, especially to the most vulnerable.
We have a toll-free Recovery Assistance & Information line at 1-888-953-3463.
A message can be left on this line 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and a Red Cross worker will return your call.
This line will remain open until further notice
The number is free to call in Saskatchewan and all information will remain confidential. Canadian Red Cross assistance is provided at no cost to the recipient and is co-ordinated with governments, insurance, and other organizations.
The Red Cross is here to:
• ensure relief of immediate and basic needs
• help with longer term recovery needs
Want to help?
Financial donations to Western Canada Severe Weather fund can be made:
• Online at www.redcross.ca, or call toll-free at 1-800-418-1111
• In-person at Red Cross offices in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert, at any Saskatchewan Credit Union branch, or at any retailer participating in the “Rubber Boot” campaign.
