Media personnel are often labeled insensitive because their job includes reporting on disasters, accidents and scenes where injuries and fatalities occur. In cities, reporters often converge at a tragedy en mass and that action gives them the reputation of being vultures.

I've finally been given the opportunity to play the role of a tour guide. For the next three days, a friend of mine from out east is taking in the full western experience right here in Maple Creek. It's pretty exciting for her, considering she's never set foot outside of southwestern Ontario before.

Friends, relatives and anyone crazy enough to invite me to their wedding need to know one minor detail. Lately, I have noticed that when I am able to be at that special day when a man and woman are joined in matrimony, something unusual always happens. Actually, it is more like something terrible occurs.

Have you ever seen puffy, white clouds that look like sheep? I am sure you have, but have you ever seen a puffy, white coyote pursuing those sheep in the sky? I certainly have, but that was when I was much younger and my imagination was much more active.
