Dear Editor, The Maple Creek Hospital and Lodge Auxiliary would like to congratulate members of the New Hospital Steering Committee for the tremendous effort they put forth into the planning of a new hospital facility to be built in Maple Creek. Theirs was not an easy task as it required the co-operation of many groups – governmental and local. Such an undertaking also involved bringing together people of varying opinions. Members of the Hospital and Lodge Auxiliary have watched as the Steering Committee resolutely pursued our community objective of improving services to the people of this corner of our province and sincerely applaud those who have succeeded against considerable odds. Thanks to the generous commitment of time and energy by the Steering Committee, we can now look forward to a period of growth in health care services and a stabilization of doctor supply in the Maple Creek area. Well done, gentlemen! Yours sincerely, Hospital and Lodge Auxiliary members |
