We would like to congratulate all those who organized and supported the flood relief benefit concert on Fri., July 2. We are so grateful to live in a community that gives of themselves so generously and rallies through difficult times.

Dear Editor,
Were you a student at Maple Creek Composite High School in the 1950s and early 1960s? If you were, do you have a copy of a 1956-1957, 1958-1959, 1959-60 and 1962-63 yearbook that the Jasper Centre can borrow? Or, can you provide us with some information as to whether or not an issue, in fact, was published in those years?

Dear Editor,
I have recently become aware that there is a movement afoot concerning farmer’s markets, bake sales and the like. I am concerned that the new guidelines may have an end result of small non-profit societies not being able to fundraise.
