Maple Creek RCMP are investigating a break and enter at the RM of Piapot office.
On Nov. 15, RM of Piapot administrator Lana Bavle noticed a number of files had been moved or deleted from the office computer.

The town of Maple Creek has submitted an expression of interest to SaskPower’s Municipal Ice Rink Program. Starting in March 2011 Saskatchewan municipalities will take part in wind power demonstrations to  offset energy costs, and gather information as to the benefits of self-generated power.
