The crux of a mountain pine beetle presentation on Oct. 25 was that no matter what Saskatchewan Environment does, there will always be mountain pine beetles. What is necessary now is to prevent the insect from migrating in large numbers from Alberta and taking over the local habitat and destroying the lodgepole pine forests  of Cypress Park.
