An Eatonia man has been charged for alleged possession of child pornography.

William Winsley, 54, is facing a possession of child pornography charge as a result of a Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit investigation that began in May.

Police executed a search warrant at an Eatonia residence May 30, where multiple computer and storage devices were seized and Winsley was arrested.

According to an RCMP press release, investigators believe there may be more victims. The investigation is ongoing.

Winsley first appeared in Saskatchewan Provincial Court in Saskatoon on May 31. He was remanded for a show cause hearing on June 2.

Anyone with knowledge of Winsley’s online activity is asked to contact the RCMP.

The press release also encourages parents to speak with their

children about online sexual exploitation. More details about Internet safety for children can be found at http://www.cybertip.ca.
