HUDEC - Justina Helen, Sept. 26, 1925 – Oct. 13, 2012
Justina Helen Hudec died on Oct 13, 2012 at Mountain Lakes Senior Community in Nelson, B.C. at the age of 87 with family by her side.
Justine married John Hudec on July 10, 1948 in Fox Valley, Sask. In 1955, Justine and John moved to Ymir, B.C. with their two young children. During Justine’s younger years she enjoyed sewing clothing for herself and her children.  She volunteered at teas, dances and was the treasurer for the Ymir Community.

Ellen Wenzel passed away at her home in Consul, Sask. on October 17, 2012 at the age of 73.
Ellen, the oldest child of George and Thelma Palmer, was born on the farm north of Consul on April 17, 1939.

On Wednesday, October 3, Dollie Sees of Medicine Hat and formerly of Maple Creek, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 years.  Left to cherish her memory are her three children; Eileen (Fred), Norma and Harlen; six grandchildren Trent (Corina), Colin (Adrea), Christy (Dan), Kelly, Amber (Will) and Sandy (Michael); seven great grandchildren Ryan, Alison, Kristen, Erin, Luke, Claire and Carter.

PALANUIK - Steve Palanuik ~ October 28, 1926 - September 20, 2012
Steve Palanuik passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Nora, sons Daryl (Roberta) Palanuik of Bentley, Alta., Terry (Joanne) Palanuik of Vulcan, Alta.; daughters Jacoline Adelin of North Battleford, Sask.; Lynn (Ken) Carlson of Red Deer, Alta.; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother-in-law Gordon Henderson and sister-in-law Lois Henderson and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass in celebration of Steve's life was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Red Deer, Alta. on Septepmber 27, 2012.

OPSAL - James Opsal, 1941 - 2012
With great sadness, we announce the death of Dr. James Orville Opsal who passed away on October 4, 2012 in Moose Jaw, Sask. He was born June 1, 1941 in Maple Creek, Sask.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Iris Grace (Wiwchar) Opsal in 1999, his mother Margaret Opsal, and his father Orville Opsal. He is survived by his son, Douglas and his wife, Amber, aunt Lilian Needrum, uncle George Opsal, sister-in-law Patricia (Stan) Hawryliw, brother-in-law David (Louise) Wiwchar, niece Rachelle, nephew Michael, Cousins, and many loving friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Moose Jaw Funeral Home on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
