DUMONT - Vera Dumont ~ 1925 – 2012
Vera May Curling was born on March 23, 1925 to parents, John and Ellen Curling.  She was born in the Curling home “The Studio” in the picturesque English village of Amberley, West Sussex.  Vera was the third of five children; Eric, Vernon, Vera, Jean and Beryl.  The family later relocated to the nearby village of Washington.  In 1939, at the age of 14, Vera was sent to London to work as a nanny.  After a brief return home at the outbreak of the Second World War, Vera return to London and remained there for two and half years. In 1942, she returned home to work as a companion for an elderly woman needing assistance.

GUNDERSON - Harald L. ~ 1929 - 2012

Harald Gunderson, of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the age of 83. He was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan on June 18, 1929.
Besides Shirley, his loving wife of 63 years, Harald is survived by his four children: Eric (Nicola), Lee (Louise), Laurie Watson and Cori (Brent) Paul; grandchildren: Brent, Kristopher, Trevor, James, David, Cierra, Charles, Aidan, Raine and Kindred; and eight great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and a multitude of close friends.

OLEKSYN - David Oleksyn of Lloydminster passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012, at the age of 75 years.
David was born in Yellow Creek, Saskatchewan on July 21, 1937, to Nettie and Dymetro Oleksyn. The family moved to a farm at Carpenter, Sask. He left home at the age of 16 to go to work. Dave worked in Saskatoon at various jobs and then became a welder. He worked for SaskPower in the gas division for many years.

Willard was born in 1918 on his father's homestead along Fish Creek in the Cypress Hills southwest of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.  He was the third of nine children born to parents William and Vitaline (Deguerre) Dumont.

Eulogy by Marlene Packard, daughter of Helen "a beautiful woman."
Good afternoon. I am Marlene Packard, daughter of Helen Helmer (I am wearing red and high heels in honour of my Mom today). My Mom's favorite theme was "be happy and believe" and today we have come together to celebrate that theme in honour of my Mom who was so full of compassion, love, faith, and a zeal for life. Thank you so much each one of you for being here.
