Willard was born in 1918 on his father's homestead along Fish Creek in the Cypress Hills southwest of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.  He was the third of nine children born to parents William and Vitaline (Deguerre) Dumont.

Eulogy by Marlene Packard, daughter of Helen "a beautiful woman."
Good afternoon. I am Marlene Packard, daughter of Helen Helmer (I am wearing red and high heels in honour of my Mom today). My Mom's favorite theme was "be happy and believe" and today we have come together to celebrate that theme in honour of my Mom who was so full of compassion, love, faith, and a zeal for life. LARSON - Edna Bernice Larson ~ 1922 - 2012
Edna Larson (nee Peterson) passed away at the Maple Creek Hospital Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the age of 90 years.
She was predeceased by her mother Eileen Peterson (Main) in 1950 and her father Berger Peterson in 1952, her sister Elaine McCulloch in 2002, her brother Walter Peterson in 1983 and her brother Lawrence Peterson in 2005.

Hopkins, Stan – Charles Stanley Hopkins passed away on August 21, 2012.  Over the last six months he dealt with his lung cancer with courage, acceptance and thankfulness for a full life.  Stan lived by the Golden Rule – do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

LANDGRAF - Doris Landgraf was born in Sintaluta, Saskatchewan on March 14, 1911 to John and Bessie Chant. She moved with her parents and three brothers to Maple Creek in 1918 where her dad was a steam engineer for the Light Power and Milling Company. Upon completion of high school, Doris went to Calgary where she took a dressmaking and design course at the Technical School.
