PARSONAGE - Laura Louise Parsonage passed away in the Maple Creek Hospital on March 2, 2013.
She was born in the Medicine Hat Hospital on December 5, 1912 to Bertha and Lawrence Wilkes of the Oxarat District north of Consul, Sask. She attended school at both Oxarat and West Plains Schools.
On November 30, 1936 Laura married Graham Parsonage from the Merryflat District where they ranched and raised their family along the banks of Battle Creek.

It is with great sadness that the family of Ron Piquard announces his  passing which occured at his home in Medicine Hat on Monday, February  25, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January  17, 1949, in Maple Creek to René and Dorothy Piquard.

STANKO - Gayle Marie Stanko ~ 1963 - 2013
Gayle has now begun her journey to another life, as she passed away peacefully in her home in Maple Creek on February 10, 2013.
She is survived by her parents Gordon and Myrtle Ford, sisters Brenda and Donna Ford, husband David Stanko, children Robyn and Ryan Stanko and predeceased by her brother Glenn Ford.

OLSON - Audrey Lillian (Magee) Olson age 70 of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan passed away February 15, 2013 following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Audrey was born in Eston, Saskatchewan to Ira and Eva Magee on March 9, 1942. She started elementary school in Isham and completed elementary school in Appledale, B.C. Junior high was completed in Slocan and South Slocan and high school completed in Wendal, B.C., after which she completed two years of Bible School. In 1962 Audrey moved to her Grandmother's farm northeast of Robsart where she helped her Grandmother and upon her passing stayed on the farm to assist her uncle Harold until his passing in 1982. In 1983 a visitor came to see Audrey by the name of Harold Olson, and after a short courtship they were married on July 30, 1984. On September 11, 1985 they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Iris Lynn Olson.

ROMANIUK - 1925 ~ 2013
Mrs. Elizabeth "Beth" Romaniuk of Maple Creek, beloved wife of the late Nick Romaniuk, passed away on Monday, February 18th, 2013 at the age of 87 years.  Beth leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Dianne Minichiello of Burnaby BC and her children, Paul, Brian and Kathryn; Valerie Hancock of Calgary and her children, Stephen and Todd; and Linda (Kevin) Romaniuk-Penny and her children, Catherine and William; Dennis’s children, Darryl and Lisa; as well as several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband, Nick; Beth was predeceased by one daughter, Marlene Romaniuk; one son, Dennis Romaniuk; her parents, Valtin & Rosina Moch; seven brothers, Gottlieb, Henry, John, Leonard, Valtin, Joe and Philip; and five sisters, Molly, Phylis, Katie, Margaret and Rose.
