FEIL - Rose Feil (nee Jaster) ~ May 28, 1913 - January 31, 2012 Rose passed away in the Maple Creek Hospital after a brief illness. Rose was predeceased by her husband August, her son Ivan and her daughter-in-law Agnes. Rose was born May 28, 1913 in the Big Stick district to Gottfried and Fredericka Jaster. She was the youngest of 11 children. Rose was only a few days old when her mother passed away. On Dec. 20, 1930 Rose married August Feil in the Rosenfeld Church. They farmed east of Golden Prairie until 1975 when they retired to Maple Creek. August and Rose were married for 64 years. Rose lived in her own home until three days before her passing. She loved her flower gardens and took great pride in her home. Many of the magnificent blooms from her garden were shared with others. Rose loved entertaining and visiting with family and friends. She will be sadly missed. Rose leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Wessly of Medicine Hat, Alta., Victor (Darlene) of Calgary, Alta., Edward (Barbara) of Golden Prairie and her daughter-in-law Stephanie of Encinitis, Ca. She also leaves to cherish five grandchildren: Corey Feil of Medicine Hat, Alta., Adrea Wirl (Scott) of Black Diamond, Alta., Erin Feil of Edmonton, Alta., Brennan Feil of Calgary, Alta and Annalisa Feil of Encinitis, Ca. and numerous nephews and nieces. Sharing in her loss are her wonderful neighbours Dale and Ellen Elderkin and Dale and Judy Gowen.
