ARMSTRONG – George Richard (Dickie, Dick), Sept. 28, 1940 to Nov 16, 2009 Beloved husband of Gloria, loving father of Darryn, passed away Nov. 16, 2009. Dickie is survived by wife Gloria, son Darryn, brothers Sam (Betty), Jack (Terry), sisters-in-law Carolyn (Emil) Sigurdson, Heather (Dave) Reinhardt, Ardelle Rusitch, Precy (Dave) Armstrong-Rizzaralla, brother-in-law Bill Hancock, numerous special nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and very special niece Vicki, her husband Travis Overacker and surrogate grandchildren Lily and Jaxson. He is predeceased by mother Marjorie and father Lewis, sister Varah May Arendt, brother Gordon, nephew Wade Arendt, mother and father-in-law Stanley and Lillian Hill, sister-in-law Shirley Hancock, brothers-in-law John Rusitch and Wallace Arendt. A memorial service was held Mon., Nov. 23 in the Paddock Theatre, Northlands Park, Edmonton. Inurnment will be in Ravenscrag, Sask. at a later date.
