The junior Redmen were defeated 25-6 by the visiting Medicine Hat Pythons during their last game of the season on October 25. The first Pythons touchdown was made by linebacker Zack Wilson at the start of the quarter. The Pythons followed with another touchdown and convert by quarterback Austin Dulle. The score was 14-0 at the end of the second quarter. No scoring was made during the third quarter.
Linebacker Tian Gardypie scored the only touchdown of the game for the junior Redmen with 13 minutes on the clock in the fourth quarter and brought the score to 20-6 Pythons.
During the fourth quarter, the Pythons continued their lead on the Redmen after Justin Hattersley scored another touchdown with eight minutes left in the quarter bringing the score to 25-6 Pythons.
The weather conditions on game day played a significant role in the junior Redmen's performance. At about halftime a storm and cold wind began to roll in, forcing some fans indoors.
"Given the weather conditions I thought we did OK, but with it being cold and kids are cold with cold hands and fingers, I don't think we played as well as I've seen us play," said coach Chris Sharp.  “The team played the best they could.”
A highlight of the game according to the coach was when the Redmen offence was struggling, the defence stepped it up.
"Defensively I thought we played better than we have in past games," said Sharp. The team tried to move the ball forward with about two minutes left in play at the end of the fourth quarter, but time had run out. This game marks the end of Redmen football for the year.
