Sadly, Danny passed away suddenly on July 17, 2015 at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK.
Danny was born on December 29, 1961 in Jasper, Alberta. Danny was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Sarah Roy. He leaves to mourn his father Norman William George Roy and his brother David Joseph Roy.
Danny was a graduate of Maple Creek Composite High School in Maple Creek. He worked for several years at Westinghouse Electrical in Calgary, Alta. Later in life Danny trained and became a fully certified EMT and worked as a first call respondent in the ambulance services in LaRonge. He then became a SIAST certified electrician working as an apprentice under Bob Weist at Wascana Electric. Danny worked on many major projects in and around the city of Regina.
Danny became severely disabled due to an accident in 2008 and fought hard to overcome it. His passing was sudden and unforeseen. We ask you to wish the family the very best as they move forward. Danny had a warm heart and was a unique individual who won many awards throughout his lifetime including student of the year at SIAST. Please consider Danny in your daily prayers and wish him well on his journey. A memorial will be held at a later date to be announced. Thank you and God Bless.
