BAUER – Peter Bauer of Maple Creek passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 4, 2016 at the age of 74 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory five children Roxanne (Brian) Berreth, Tammy (Glen) Wagner, Craig (April) Bauer, Bobbie Joe Giampa and Jolene (Joe) Bessant. His grandchildren Cody Berreth, Ashleigh Bekkema, Troy (Erin) Wagner, Dylan Berreth and Kristin McQuade, Teanna Wagner and Ismael Bergeron, Austin and Katrina Freeman, Cassandra, Sky-Lynn, Isabelle and Jaxon Bessant; his great grandson Daxton Berreth.
Peter was born Nov. 3, 1941, in RM of Surprise. He farmed in the Golden Prairie area for many years while raising his family at Maple Creek, Sask. He was a mechanic at 1-21 Junction Garage. He drove school bus for the Maple Creek School Unit for over 25 years, also serving as their mechanic and maintenance man. He worked maintenance for the hospital, was ambulance attendant and drove ambulance until his health failed in 2004.
Peter had a great love for the land and traveling to see different places. He particularly loved B.C., but his devotion was to his family. He loved his children and grandkids unconditionally. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A private interment took place on Mon., Mar. 6, 2016.
