Vernon passed away May 14, 2016. He is survived by his son Blair (Bev) and their family Charles, Jamie (Natalia) and by his son Greg and his daughter Kelly, and son Cody (Jaimi) and their son Jacob. He is also survived by his brother Arden (Karen) and their family and by his sister Jean (Marvin Sulz) and her family. He is also survived by his special friend Lorraine Murray and her family.
He is predeceased by wife Eileen (May), his parents Ben and Anna Erman and his sister Joanne (Curtis). Vernon also leaves behind many others who just knew him as Papa or Grandpa. He enjoyed very much going to the rink or ball diamond to watch the kids. Vern’s coffee row friends were an important part of his life.
Vern loved life and was always there to help when needed and was a friend to many. He will be missed but not forgotten. His smile will be in our memories and his stories in our hearts.
A Funeral Service was held on May 24, 2016 at the Maple Creek United Church with Pastor Daryl Martin and Eleanor Bowie officiating. Interment preceded the Funeral Service. Binkley’s Funeral Service Maple Creek & Leader in charge of arrangements, 306-662-2292.
