Wayne’s World – A dangerous individual

Posted on February 9, 2016 by Maple Creek

Whether it’s a conscious decision or not, almost every person enjoys observing the behaviour and social interactions of other people. The way we conduct ourselves in public and private says a lot about our character and that becomes very evident when it comes to egocentric people – the type of person who has an opinion on every subject and feels obligated to share it. Billionaire Donald Trump is one of those people. His bid for the office of the U.S. presidency is truly showing his desire to be the center of national attention and the man who has a simple solution to every problem or issue.
Some people hate his trademark hairstyle, a massive comb-over that consumes every follicle, but it is the fact that a large number of voters like Trump and his biased and illogical statements that really scares me. Apparently a lack of thoughtfulness is acceptable if it is replaced with redneck attitudes of bigotry and bias.
Below are some of the many wild and offensive comments he has made.
In January, Trump was on top of his game at Sioux Center, Iowa. Stating what appeared to be obvious (at least to himself) he said, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters.”
Trump is undoubtedly an intelligent individual, it’s just too bad that he forgot the value of humility. Like an old country and western song states, “It’s hard to be humble when you are perfect in every way” and I think Donald must sing that song in the shower every morning.
“On the subject of national brain power, he was quoted saying, “Why aren’t we smart? We used to be brilliant.”
“Sorry losers and haters, but my IQ is one of the highest—and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure, it’s not your fault.”
The billionaire’s obsession with beauty is made obvious by his failed relationships and hurtful comments. He sees his stunning good looks in a special way and said, “Part of the beauty of me is that I am very rich.”
“I love beautiful women, and beautiful women love me. It has to be both ways.”
“All of the women on The Apprentice (television show) flirted with me—consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.”
Trump has ethics and did not mind telling people about his values when he stated, “I think the only difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m more honest and my women are more beautiful.”
“Rosie O’Donnell’s disgusting both inside and out. You take a look at her, she’s a slob. She talks like a truck driver, she doesn’t have her facts, she’ll say anything that comes to her mind . . . I mean she’s basically a disaster.”
The would-be politician has a special gift when it comes to dealing with people of various ethnic backgrounds. He was quoted saying, “I have a great relationship with the blacks. I’ve always had a great relationship with the blacks.”
He also said, “Laziness is a trait in blacks.”
“A well-educated black has a tremendous advantage over a well-educated white in terms of the job market. I think sometimes a black may think they don’t have an advantage or this and that . . .
I’ve said on one occasion, even about myself, if I were starting off today, I would love to be a well-educated black because I believe they do have an actual advantage.”
“I am the least racist person there is. And I think most people that know me would tell you that. I am the least racist.”
“Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.”
His appreciation of Mexicans is equally well known.
“I will build a great wall — and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me —and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”
“The wall will go up and Mexico will start behaving.”
Trump also has a strong knowledge of technology and media and it was obvious when he said, “My twitter has become so powerful that I can actually make my enemies tell the truth.”
“How come every time I show anger, disgust or impatience, enemies say I had a tantrum or meltdown—stupid or dishonest people?”
“You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ___.”
All I can say is God help America if Trump is somehow elected.
